QUADSAT – MANAGING THE SPECTRUM

Over the next 10 years, the number of satellites orbiting the earth will increase from 8,000 to 100,000. In other words, there will be a tough fight for space when we need to have radio and antenna signals safely back and forth without miscommunication, interference and data deviations. There is an inevitable requirement for precise direction on all communication lines between antennas and satellites. A demand the world could not meet until a few years ago.

But it can now - QuadSAT has the solution!

QuadSAT has developed a drone-borne unique payload/software system which can test, monitor and calibrate antennas on-site regardless of location. Like no other known system, the system can ensure optimal functionality of the antennas on-site. A necessity - as these giant antennas cannot be moved once they are mounted.

In 2021, QuadSAT began a collaboration with Tanken 16. Torben Frigaard stepped in as chairman of the board and investor. A 'match made in heaven' when you think of Torben's extensive experience with tech companies that are well on their way to becoming major global players.

At the same time, Susan Nørgaard started a collaboration on strategic communication in close collaboration with one of the two founders, Joakim Espeland. This has led to many exciting conversations with both Joakim, the other founder Andrian Buchi and with the management team at QuadSAT. Having the opportunity to look into their world and gain insight into just a small slice of what they work with - it's a great privilege and that's why we love our work.

We look forward to following the continued work between QuadSAT, Torben and Susan, where they together develop and equip QuadSAT to be launched towards the stars.

We connect start-ups and investors.
